THE STORY OF LE VEER
Het verhaal van Le Veer begint in 2017 als Veerle van de Weijer op zoek is naar dat ene unieke kettinkje dat elke outfit sprankelend maakt. Vinden wat ze zocht bleek niet eenvoudig, dus kocht ze bij een kralenwinkeltje op de hoek verschillende kralen. Ze reeg een aantal mooie sieraden, fotografeerde ze tijdens een vakantie in Kos en deelde haar knappe kiekjes op Instagram. Al snel bleek dat de kleurrijke juweeltjes niet alleen Veerle intens gelukkig maakten. Le Veer was geboren.
Kenmerkend voor Le Veer zijn de kleurrijke handgemaakte kralensieraden waarmee je eindeloos kunt variëren. Stuk voor stuk geliefd vanwege hun sprekende kleuren, speelse ontwerpen, verfijnde details én het beroemde veertje dat elegant aan ieder item bungelt.
Om de stroom aanvragen bij te kunnen houden, zette Veerle haar baan als radiotherapeutisch laborante in het ziekenhuis opzij om fulltime aan haar merk te bouwen. Veerle: “Inmiddels koop ik grote hoeveelheden kralen in, struin ik exotische marktjes af, en reis ik de wereld over om inspiratie op te doen voor mijn sieradencollectie. Iedere collectie heeft haar eigen thema en speciale karakter.” Anno 2022 vliegt Le Veer over de Nederlandse toonbanken en wordt het label geroemd door grote merken en influencers. Vastberaden om ook de rest van de wereld te veroveren, werkt Veerle waanzinnig hard om haar droom waar te maken.
